Rosa Lea Salamon , contrabass player came to Israel from Copenhagen, Denmark.
She was a part of a klezmer group of the Jewish community in Copenhagen, and performed klezmer a lot even before she came to Israel. Sara is 20 years old.
Yoshio Otsuka plays accordion.
He came to Israel from Japan 4 years ago. He came to study Hebrew, the original language of the
Tanakh (Bible). Although Yoshio played Jewish music in Japan, he has been studying Jewish folk music – klezmer in Jerusalem’s music academy.
Daniel Ratush is a violinist and an arranger. He is one of the founding members and the musical director of Happy Nigun klezmer band.
Daniel immigrated to Israel from St. Petersburg, Russia. He belongs to famous music family.
Daniel performs multiple genres including classical, kleizmer, jazz and rock.
He has been playing klezmer for 5 years. Last year he took part of Safed Klezmer Festival concerts with leading musicians from Israel and from abroad, including the famous clarinettist Giora Feidman, and violinist Michael Gershwin (France).
The musicians are young, natural, professional and full of energy. Klezmer - International band captivate their audience’s attention with their varied performing lineup.
